Is your business information the same on every website?

Put in your details one time. The tool then gives you a search link for each of the 20 websites that matter, and the exact text to copy.

How to use this

Google compares your listing with your business information on other websites. A different telephone number or an old address makes Google less certain about your business.

Work through the list one time. Then check it again after a move, a name change or a new telephone number.

Copy the exact text from this tool into each website. The name, the address and the telephone number must match character for character, including "St" against "Street".

Common questions

How many websites must I correct?

Start with the 20 in this list. They cover the sites that Google reads most often.

What if I cannot change an old listing?

Most sites have a claim process for a business owner. If a site has no process, contact their support. Some old listings cannot be corrected, and that is acceptable if the important sites are correct.

Does the format of the telephone number matter?

Use the same format everywhere. Google reads the digits, but a consistent format helps people and other websites.
