Get reviews the right way

At the end of this lesson, you have a review link and a routine for each customer.

Ask each customer

Ask immediately after the job. The customer is satisfied at that moment. Send a direct link in a text message on the same day. Our free review link builder makes the link and the message.

Obey the rules

  • Do not give a discount or a gift for a review
  • Do not write false reviews. Do not ask your family or friends to write them
  • Do not ask only the customers that you think are satisfied

Google prohibits these practices. The FTC rule on reviews and testimonials became effective in October 2024.

Answer each review

For a good review, write one or two sentences of thanks. For a bad review, stay calm. Do not argue. Ask the person to contact your office. Future customers also read your answers.
